| Route Notes | The whole team (apart from Smithwick) left C3 at 11:45 pm on 26 May. The weather was windy and cold. There was fresh snow and they had to break trail. Smithwick reached C3 and did not join the summit attempt due to a urinary infection. He stayed at C3 while the rest of the group tried for the summit. Rawlinson reached 8300m; he did not feel good and turned back to C3 after 1 hour. Asgarov reached the ridge just below the 1st Step at about 8600m; he was worried about frostbite and found climbing in the wind too hard, so he turned back to C3 at 6:30 am. Morrow reached 8650m just above 1st Step, McGuinness called him back due to the windy conditions; he turned back to C3. McGuinness reached the bottom of 1st Step at about 8600m; he turned back at 7:15 am due to the bad conditions and the dangerously cold wind. Tan reached the top of the 3rd Step at 8750m and was also called back by McGuinness due to the cold and windy weather. Koh kept going to the summit with three Sherpas despite McGuinness calling him back. He reached the summit at 11:45 am (NST), but was in a large cloud in the top. He descended to C3, where he arrived at about 6 pm. Smithwick, Rawlinson, Asgarov and Morrow descended to C1 the same day. They arrived at 6 pm. The rest stayed at C3 for the night and descended to ABC on 28 May. Oxygen: Taken and used from C1 from Rawlinson, Koh and Tan from C1 to high point to C1. Rest of the group and Sherpas from C2 to high point (or summit) to C2.
