Route Notes Jagged Globe Everest Expedition - 2 June 2011 (led by David Hamilton) All twelve members went to the summit. Eight summited on 16 May with seven Sherpas, and four more members with four Sherpas on the 25th; of the Sherpas, three went to the top twice. The first summit party left C4 on the 15th at 9:30 pm and reached the summit with Hamilton in the lead between 6:00 and 6:30 am on the 16th. They were Chambers, Chapman, Gott, Hamilton, Kaasik, Smith, Tuuleveski and Wade. The Sherpas with them were Mingma Tsiri, Pasang Tenzing, Pem Chhiri, [Pema Chhiri], Tshering Pemba, Thundu and Wangdi. The group returned to C4 between 10:00 am and 11:30 am. They were in C2 the next day and BC on the 18th. The second summit party left C4 on the 24 May at 9:30 pm and most of them summited at 7:45 am and were back in C4 at 12:00 noon. These climbers were Parks, Pinnock and Smith with Mingma Tsiri, Pasang Tenzing, Pem Chhiri and Pemba Chongbi. Williams and Pasang Tenzing were on the top at 10:30 am and got down to C4 at 2:00 pm. For Mingma Tsiri and Pasang Tenzing, this was their second ascent this month: they had summited and descended to BC with the first party. The members used oxygen from C2 to the summit to C3. The Sherpas used it from C4 to the top to and in C4. The only casualties were: Parks, whose left big toe was frostbitten, and by the time he had returned to BC it had blistered and was on the way to healing. He wanted to climb Elbrus in July. Wade suffered from blurred vision when he was descending from the summit to C4, but it was back to normal when he was back in BC. The cause was wind getting into his cornea. He had an eye surgery ten years previously. Sherpas: Mingma Tsiri Sherpa, 1/8/70, Beding (one of the 7 Brothers), Everest X15, Cho Oyu X3, Dhaulagiri X1, Manaslu X1 Pasang Tenzing Sherpa, 1/10/84, Beding (a brother) Everest X6, Cho Oyu X2 Pem Chhiri Sherpa, 3/3/80 (20/11/2036), Chankhu-6, Dolakha Pemba Chongbi Sherpa, [29/6/85] (15/3/2042), Kharikhola, Solu Pemba Tshering (Pem Chhiri) Sherpa, 16/12/80, Chankhu-6, Dolakha, Everest X4, Cho Oyu X2 Thundu Sherpa, 18/2/78, Beding (a brother), Everest X5, Cho Oyu X2, Manaslu X1 Wangdi Sherpa, (18/11/2045), Shyama, Dolakha
