Route Notes Crampton, Palacky, Watroba, Chhedar, Dorje, Nima Nuru, Pasang Nima and Pasang Wangchu left C4 for the summit at 8:00 pm on 11 May. Watroba, Chhedar and Nima Nuru arrived at the South Summit at 6:00 am on the 12th and continued on to the summit at 8:00 am. The others in the summit party were behind them and by the time these climbers arrived at the South Summit, a fierce wind had blown up; they waited an hour for the wind to die down, and when it stayed very strong, they retreated to C4 at 11:00 am. The summiters joined them back in C4 at 4:00 pm. There was a lot of snow at the Balcony (about 8500m) and at C4 (South Col) inside all three of the team's tent's, there was 18 inches of powdered snow that made everything miserably wet. The three members and five Sherpas descended to C2 on the 13th and to BC the next day. The fourth member, Trott, and her personal Sherpa, Ang Gelu, climbed with the others on the 11th on the way to C4, but at the Yellow Band (about 7600m), she turned back: she was too slow. Ang Gelu went with her as they returned to C2 that day. Sherpas: Ang Gelu/Gello Sherpa, 23/7/70, Surke, Chaurikharka-4, Everest X1, Cho Oyu X1 Chhedar Sherpa, 19/12/63, Sisuwa-9, Makalu vdc, Everest X4 Dorje Sherpa, May-June 1965, Phakding, Everest X6 Nima Nuru, 19/6/67, Chaplung, Chaurikharka-3, Solu, Everest X2 Pasang Nima, 28/1/74, Chaurikharka, Solu, Everest X1 Pasang Wangchu, 25/4/87, Cheremy, Bung-9, Solu, Everest X2
