Route Notes Summit: 24 May by Blanc, Camandona, Enzio and Mondinelli at 1 pm without oxygen. Team left C3 on 24th May at 2:30 am. It was snowing, but it was warm. All four of them climbed without oxygen. On their way up, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, who also climbed without oxygen, caught up with them on the 2nd Step. They climbed together and reached the summit at 1 pm (NST). It must have been the first time ever that five people had reached the summit of Mount Everest together without oxygen. They had no views from the summit. After the summit they descended to C2. On 25th May they descended to ABC.
