Route Notes Before going to Everest BC, the team of one member and two Sherpas went to Island Peak, and all three men summited it on 13 April. On Everest, after occuping C2 on the 22nd and 23rd of April, the team descended to BC on the 24th to rest. On the 26th, they moved up again: to C1 on that day, made C2 on the 27th, and pitched C3 on the 28th, then back to BC for a rest. On 4 May the two Sherpas went up again to C2, nad on the 5th they climbed to the site of C4, where they deposited the equipment for the camp and bottles of oxygen. They went down to C2 on the 6th and to BC on the 7th for their rest; Huang had remained in BC while they were above. They began their climb to the top on the 13th, when all three men ascended to C2 from BC. They went to C3 on the 14th and occupied C4 on the 15th. On the 16th at 9:30 pm they left C4 for the summit, and at 10:30 am of the 17th they arrived there. They spent that night in C4, then descended all the way to BC on the 18th. On the 20th, they flew by helicopter from BC via Lukla to Kathmandu. The next day, the 21st, Huang left by road to go to Kodari and thence to China. All of them used oxygen. Huang started using it from C3, and continued on oxygen to and in C4, to the summit, and to and in C4. The Sherpas used it from C4 to the top and back to C4.
