| Route Notes | BC at CBC/midcamp on 1 Sept at 5800m C1 at North Col. Kuriki left C2 at about 8:30 am NST on 24 Sept for higher camp. When he reached 7900m around 4 pm toward Great Couloir, started snowfall and strong wind. Then Kuriki turned around to C2 where he reached at 7:30 pm. Slept there, next day descended to ABC. The Kuriki team returned to Kathmandu on 1 Oct. Ishii, Kodotani and Tatsuno slept at 7000m North Col from 22-25 Sept. All other members stayed in BC or ABC. |
