Route Notes The summit party left C4 at 8:00 pm on 20 May. They were ten members and seven Sherpas: Bisht, Bodh, Burathoki, Dharmshaktu, Gusain, Panwar, Rana, Dashrath Rawat, Dinesh Rawat, Semwal, plus seven Sherpas: Pasang Karma, Pasang Kami, Kami Chhiri, Pema Dorje, Phur Temba, Karma Gyalzen and Mingma Dorje. All of them reached the summit between 6:00 and 6:30 am on the 21st, and all returned to C4 to stay that night, to C2 on the 22nd and to BC on 23rd. The only health problems was Bisa's serious stomach problem, which developed when he reached C3 on 5 May. He was evacuated from BC by helicopter on the 8th. Other non-summiting members: Ghosh reached C3 site on 6 May and down to C2, and on the 7th to BC with others in an acclimatization climb. He never went back up again: he was not strong enough, and remained in BC. Kumar was same as Ghosh. Lalrintluanga went to C4 on the 20th, was very tired, and stayed in camp, descended with the summiters. Masur like Ghosh and Kumar, he reached C3 site on 6 May and on 7th descended from C2 to BC to remain there. Miss Meena Panwar was confined to BC because she was not on the 15-member climbing permit.
