| Route Notes | BC at Khumbu Glacier C1 above the icefall - deposit camp did not sleep C2 in Western Cwm C3 on Lhotse West Face C4 at South Col. On 19 May Thapa, Tamang and Da Dendi left C4 at 8:30 pm for summit. The members arrived on summit between 8:45 am and 9:10 am of 20 May. Stayed on summit for about 30 minutes. The expedition had its banner on which signatures of President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Subhash Nembang leaders of 24 Political parties, 10 different religious organizations. All three members descended to C4 around 1 pm, slept there. Next day 21st to C2 and on 22nd to BC. Fixed rope: contributed 200m Ang Dorje Sherpa high point was 7400m. Krishna Gopal Shrestha high point was C4; his feet started getting cold. |
