Route Notes On 18 May high point team, Bate, Pasang Tendi and Danuru left C4 at 10 pm. Bate had problems with his oxygen. Greene and Lobsang carried on while 3 others stopped at 8500m to fix oxygen mask. Bate felt very unwell, so they returned back to South Col. Rested there and Pasang, Danuru and Bate descended to C2. Arrived at noon. When Greene and Lobsang arrived at South Summit, there were too many people at summit ridge and Greene got a bit frightened by the looks of ridge. Arrived there at noon. Lee reached 6500m (bottom of Lhotse face on 6 May). She gave up there due to no energy. After acclimatization trip, she was at BC and flew back to Kathmandu with cook who had alcohol poisoning on 13 May. She wanted to be at hospital with him. She returned to BC on 17 May but never tried another summit push.
