Route Notes Whole team (8 members) and 3 Sherpas left C4 at 8:30 pm on 22 May. White reached 8000m at about 9:30 pm but turned back as he was not feeling well and lost motivation. He returned to C4. Maxwell, Brown, Peacock got to the Balcony (8425m), but turned back due to cold hands and feet at about 2:30 am. They returned to C4, arrived at 5 am. Chong reached 8758m at about 10 am, but was asked to turn around by Peacock via radio as it was getting too late. He was with Dorje Khatri. On way down Chong fell over fixed line and sprained ankle. Peacock received radio call at 1:15 pm and was asked to come back up with food and water. He ascended and met them at 8350m. Chong was very tired and needed assistance. Peacock gave Chong his oxygen as he had run out. They arrived at 7 pm. Summit team also descended to C4. Brown, Maxwell and White left C4 at about 1:15 pm and descended to C2 on 24 May. Arrived at 2 pm, apart from Chong who arrived at C3 at 7 pm on 24 May. Everybody was at BC on 27 May.
