Route Notes 17 May summit team left C4 at 10:30 pm on 16 May. In perfect conditions Cool, Maud and Chewang Dorje arrived at top at 8 am. Samra and Lhakpa Wangchu at 9:30 am [9:49 am according to Samra]. On way down Chewang Dorje collapsed (about 10 am) and Cool thinks it was cerebral edema. Cool gave him Dexamethasone and Chewang Dorje recovered quickly. They arrived at C4 at 12:30 pm. Samra and Lhakpa Wangchu arrived at 3 pm. On 18 May Cool descended to BC; the rest of team to C2. On 21 May Cool left BC again for 2nd Summit push. Stephen, James, Lhakpa Thundu and Tapchen had left BC on 19 May. Cool caught up with James, Lhakpa Tundu at C2 on 21 May. They caught up with Stephens and Tapchen at C4 on 23 May. On summit push Stephens and Tapchen left C4 at 8 pm; Cool, James and Lhakpa Thundu left at 9 pm. Cool left James and Lhakpa Thundu and sped up as he was feeling unwell and wanted to get to summit as quickly as possible; he arrived at 3:50 am. James and Lhakpa Thundu summited at 8:30 am and Stephens and Tapchen at 9:30 am. Cool descended to C2, arrived at noon. Rest of summit team spent night at C4, arrived at about 2 pm. On 25 May they descended to C2 and 26 May to BC.
