Route Notes BC on Khumbu Glacier C1 above Khumbu Icefall C2 in Western Cwm/ABC C3 on Lhotse West Face C4 at South Col. Kim Sung-Bong, Lee Jang-Woo, Pasang Dawa Sherpa, Jangbu Sherpa, Nima Gyalzen Sherpa, Nga Tenji and Tshering Jangbu Sherpa left C4 at 7:30 pm on 17 May. Around 7:30 am on 18 May reached the summit. The team stayed on summit about 30 minutes then descended to C4 at 11 pm. Next day to C3 and following day to BC. Summit day weather was very good no wind, no snow. Summit team member Cha went up to C1 and gave up too old to climb further. According to Chun (BC manager) Cha was the leader of the West Ridge expedition in 1995 (the team went up to C3). Another summit team member Cho went up to South Col on 16 May and gave up climbing due to exhaustion. Chung went up to C2 (advance BC) on May 10 coordinating with BC and high camps. Kim Jong-Ho remained at BC as BC manager. Summit team member Kim Sang-Hong slept at C2 on 10 May had headache and went down to BC. Lee Chang-Kee BC only. Lee Chung-Ho summit team member went up to C2 on 21 April and did not climb further up. Lee Jae-Seung expedition doctor climbed up to C2 on 21 April. Lee Nam-Jin also went up to C2 on 21 April, then stopped climbing as he was scared when he saw the mountain. Park Seung-Eon also up to C2 and did not like to go up further. Um (Mrs) - BC only. Yoo went up to South Col as support team member on 16 May. The team returned to Kathmandu on 25 May, spent a night at Hyatt and left Kathmandu on 26 except Chun and Yoo. They moved to Villa Everest. They will leave on 31 May.
