| Route Notes | BC at CBC/IC on 9 April 5750m C1 at North Col. Ross, Moti Lal Gurung and Dawa Tenjen Sherpa left C3 at 10:30 pm NST on 15 May. At 1st Step they had to wait for an hour. Moti turned back from that point; he was slow and may be feeling cold. When Ross reached just below the pyramid, his oxygen ran out. He felt good, no problem for breathing. But he borrowed one oxygen cylinder from one of the Sherpas probably of Indian team. Ross and Dawa reached summit at 7:30 am on 16 May. They stayed at summit for 30 minutes. Then, descended to C3 at about 11 am. Moti was there waiting for Ross and Dawa. Ross and Moti went down to C2 at about 4 pm, slept there. Dawa went down to C1. Next day Ross and Moti descended to ABC. There were 30-40 people on summit. Weather was good. Ross turned to Kathmandu on 21 May and will leave on 28.
