Route Notes Goo, Kim Gil-Woo, Kim Jae-Soo, Kim Ju-Jin, Lee Sang-Ho, Shin Myun-Dai, Yi Sung-In, Yun Chi-Won, Tarke, Jumik Bhote, and Nima Tenji left C3 at 10:40 pm (CST) on 15 May. Miss Go, Kim Gil-Woo, Kim Jae-Soo, Lee Sang-Ho, Yi Sung-In, Yun Chi-Won, Tarke, Jumik Bhote, and Nima Tenji reached the summit at 6:15 (NST) on 16 May. They stayed on summit one hour and descended to C3 at 11:30 am then to C1 at 6 pm. Kim Ju-Jin turned back to C3 from 8500m it was too much for him to continue. Shin Myun-Dai tried from C3 on 15 May but he had to turn back due to strong wind from 8500m. He slept at C2 and tried again on 18 May but turn back from C3 to North Col. He was very tired. The members of a big Indian team and some other people also summited on that day. Jeang, Miss Song and Sange Sherpa left at midnight of 16 May and reached summit at 9:10 am on 17 May. They stayed on summit one hour and 30 minutes. The team descended to C3 where Jeang reached at 1:30 pm. Then he went down and reached ABC at 7 pm; Miss Song and Sange Sherpa reached C3 at 3:40 pm and to C1 at 9 pm. Youn Sam-Jun and Ngima Dendi left C3 at 00:30 on 19 May. They reached summit at 10:30 am, stayed on summit 40 minutes, then descended to C3 at 2 pm then to C1 at 7 pm. About 20 people summited on that day. Park and Kim Seng-Sang left C3 at 11 pm on 19 May. Kim Seng-Sang had to turn back to C2 from 8800m due to diarrhea. Park reached summit at 9 am on 20 May. He stayed on summit about an hour descended to C3 at about 11:30 am and to ABC at 9 pm. Cheung and Kim Jong-Dae reached C3 on 15 May at about 10 pm. It was late so they did not try to summit. Miss Eum only up to North Col (she did not want to climb). Kim Kwan-Jae, Lee Hyeong-Geun and Yoon went up to C3 on 18 May slept there. Kim Kwan-Jae and Yoon went back to ABC on 19 and Lee Hyeong-Geun to North Col on 20th. They were exhausted. Song Ki-Bong only up to North Col (no climbing). Oxygen: all climbers used oxygen from C2 to summit C2 except Park and Yun who used from C3 to summit to C3 and Yi from 7500m to summit and to 7000m. Record: Miss Song may be oldest Korean woman to summit Everest.
