Route Notes Everest (North Col) expedition led by Kobler, Spring - 28 May 2007 Summit party of Kobler, Meyer, Moerdre, Da Nima and Mingma left C4 at 9:00 pm NST on 15 May and despite having to break trail, they were first summiters on 16 May at 4:10 am. They had gone to the summit very early in order to avoid the queue at the Second Step. They descended all the way to ABC the same day. The expedition left BC on 21 May, except Kobler and the six Sherpas, who stayed to wait for Americans led by Mike Marolt to complete their climb. Non-summiting members: Kuebler reached C2. Plessy reached C1, mountain too big, left expedition 10 May Oxygen: Members in C3 to top to 7800m; Sherpas from C3 to top to C4 Sherpa summiters: Da Nima Sherpa, 18/6/72, Bhakanje, Solu, Everest X3 including N-S traverse on 18 May 2006 Mitenjen (called Mingma) Sherpa, 30/7/69, Nurbugaon, Makalu, Cho Oyu 25/9/04
