| Route Notes | High point team left C3 on 14 May at 10 pm. Weather calm but cold. When they reached about 8700m, Berry saw body of dead Japanese climber who died on summit being lowered. He did not want to carry on up even though he was feeling strong. He was disillusioned; they turned back at about 11 am. Berry said Sherpas lowered body to about 8600m and left it there. He, Pasang and Lila descended to C3, arrived at 6 pm. Next day ABC. Parker got to ABC on 16 April. He left ABC on 20 April as he had to go back to UK for business. He left Kathmandu on 23 April.
