Route Notes On 1 May moved tent at North Col to 7600m and left gear there and down to ABC. From ABC to 7600m on 14 May after 4 day's rest at BC. 15th took tent up to 8100m and stayed there on 16th because of wind and snow. 17th better weather so at 9:30 am NST all 3 members left tent still together; after half an hour Manoni moved more slowly than others; because so cold entered other team's tent at 8300m then continued up with Mr Nadia Tiraboschi; he got to 8600m and decided too late for top, but even too late to reach 8100m so slept outside at 8500m and down to ABC on 18th. Benet and Meroi to top at about 10:15 am, Benet decided to descend to North Col, stopped at 8100m tent left it for others to use temporarily; left at 4:00 pm and arrived ABC 9:30 pm, very tired (ten steps and rest ten steps and rest).
