Route Notes Both members and both climbing Sherpas left C1 at 8:00 am NST to go to C2 site; got to 7700m at 12:00 noon since this was high enough on this acclimatization trip; down to ABC. 28 April Tashi Pema to North Col and back, timing the climb for Polackova's future climb. 29th both Sherpas to 8300m C3 site and dropped loads and to North Col. 1-4 May in BC for rest. 13 May Pema and 2 members left ABC to North Col, 14th to C2, 15th C2 and C3 with Nima Gombu joining them in C3 from C2; arrived 12:30 pm C3. All 4 climbers up at 9:30 pm from C3, but 10:30 pm to 3:00 am strong wind and snow showers when reached bottom of 2nd Step; Tashi breaking trail, on up Step to its top at 1:00 am or later. On top 7:00 am (all 4 climbers), stayed on top on hour. Now weather was beautiful and down to C2 to sleep. 17th to ABC. Oxygen: Nima from C3 to top to C2 Pema from C2 to top to C2 Members from 7300m to top to C2 Sherpas: Nima Gombu, 2/1/69, Beding, Cho Oyu X3, Everest X11 Pema Sherpa, 28/8/73, Makalu-5, no 8000ers
