Route Notes Hyun-Jo Lee, Yun, Hyung-Kwan Lee, Thilen Sherpa, Peme Sherpa and Tashi Sherpa left C3 at midnight (CST) of May 15. Yun had to turn around to C3 from First Step due to eye problem. Both Lee, Thilen, Peme and Tashi Sherpa reached summit together at 10:35 hours (08:20 NST) on May 16, stayed on summit one hour and descended to C3 at 14:00 hours. Next day to ABC. Others on summit on that day were members and Sherpas of Korean expeditions, Swedish and Chinese. The summit day weather was little windy and there were snowfall at the beginning. After sunrise it became clear and warm. The expedition was organized on the occasion of celebrating 50th anniversary of founding of the Chonnan National University alumni. The expedition team returned to Kathmandu on May 22 and will leave on 24th. Baek (leader), Hyun-Jun Kim, Yong-Oyk Kim and Young-Pil Kim remained at North Col through out the expedition as support team. Miss Ga-Young Kim climbed up to C2 on April 23 and gave up climbing due to cold.
