Route Notes Cardona, Servosa Roca, Kami Rita and Ang Phurba left C2 at 9:30 pm (NST) on 16 May. When they arrived at C3 midnight. Servosa Roca abandoned climb as he had dislocated his right shoulder the previous night. He has a long history of problems with his shoulder. He just turned around in the tent to get something and his shoulder was dislocated. When he got to C3 it was too painful, so he descended to C1. Summit team descended to ABC after summit. They picked up Servosa Roca in C1 where they arrived at 6 pm (NST). Fuentes and Lluis Julia got to C2 on 16 May at 7500m; they decided to turn back as they thought they were too slow. They got to C2 at 5 pm (NST) and descended to C1, where they arrived at 7 pm. The team did not have a C3 as they wanted to do it more quickly. Fuentes thinks he would have had a better chance had they had a C3. Canigueral got to C1 on 7 May. He stayed there one night but descended to ABC. He did not carry on climbing due to lack of motivation. Julia Bonmati reached C3 [site at 8300m] on 20 May. The group had planned another summit attempt, but there was a misunderstanding between him and Kami Rita. They were supposed to climb together after Kami Rita had come down from 7900m. However, they missed each other and Julia Bonmati arrived at C3 on his own without tent and food. He stayed the night in a tent of Ang Phurbu's friend. Next day he descended to ABC.
