Route Notes 17 May summit team left C3 at 9 pm NST on 16 May. Weather was clear. After summiting they descended to ABC on 18 May. 18 May summit team left C3 at 9 pm NST on 17 May. Weather was clear. After summiting they descended to C1 and on 20 May to ABC. 21 May summit team left C3 at 11:30 pm on 20 May. It was very windy and partly cloudy. They descended to C3, where they arrived at 2 pm. On 22 May they descended to C1 and on 23 May to ABC. Clarke got to C1 on 3 May and stayed for one night. He abandoned climb due to flu he could not get rid of. L'Herpiniere got to ABC on 17 April, but felt very altitude sick. He descended to BC on 18 April and returned to Kathmandu on 21 April. Nigel Lyle got to 7300m on 30 April. When he descended to ABC the next day, he developed a bad cough, which he never recovered from. Sarah Lyle got to C3 on 20 May; she stayed there for 2 nights, but abandoned the climb as she found lack of motivation. She got scared, especially after a few fatalities had happened. Zlattinger got to 7500m on 2 May; he found it mentally and physically too challenging and abandoned climb. Dominic Faulkner developed altitude sickness at BC on 13 April. He was evacuated to Shegar, where he stayed for 4 nights. He returned to BC on 17 April and felt fine. He recovered completely as he finally made it to the summit.
