| Route Notes | BC at CBC/IC on 21 at 5700m C3 at top camp lower than usual C3 site. Bouchet left his top camp (7900m) at mid-night of May 17, summited at 10:20 hours NST on May 18. Stayed on summit for 20 minutes and descended to top camp at 15:30 hours. On May 19 to ABC. Weather on summit day was very good, no wind, but big cloud over the summit. Bouchet met on summit 3 Polish coming up from south side. Also there were 3 people of Peace Project expedition from north side; their South African black member Selamolela was carried down by other members. Bouchet returned to Kathmandu on May 24 and will leave by the end of May. |
