Route Notes On their first summit push on 16 May, the team left C1 at 9 am. Paolo met Ravi from Malaysia at 7500m, who was on his way down;he had bad frostbite. Helena descended to North Col after Paolo informed her by radio. She was slightly behind Paolo. Paolo, Ravi and his Sherpa descended to North Col (after Paolo had deposited his gear at C2). They ate some food there and Paolo, Ravi and his Sherpa descended to ABC, where they arrived at 10 pm Nepali time. Helena descended on 17 May to ABC and both descended to BC on same day. Ravi was taken to Kathmandu on 19 May. The Coelhos do not know whether Ravi summited. Their 2nd summit attempt on 25 May was shattered as they found their tent at C2 was destroyed and sleeping bags, mattresses and stove was gone. They arrived at C2 in the early afternoon. They left their tent at C2 and descended to C1, where they arrived at 5 pm in very bad weather. The next day (26 May) they descended to ABC. They say they do not know what happened to their stuff. On the same day, 25 May, Josette Valloton also found her tent to be empty at C2. However, she found out that her stuff (sleeping bag and mattress) was mistakenly taken by a Sherpa of Russell Brice's team.
