| Route Notes | C1 at North Col High point at C2. 2nd May gusty wind and spindrift piling up against tent, and took tent off and went to ABC with Matt Fangman. 4 May to BC. 6th May Pasang village at 4300m. Returned to BC 8 May; ABC on 11 May; C1 on 14 May; 15th to 7700m. 16th very tired and weak to go higher than 5 meters, so returned to 7700m. 17th down in afternoon to C1 at 11:00 pm, very weak and difficulty breathing. 18th still very slow and weak and put on oxygen by doctor of Everest Max team at C1. Spanish lead by Buendia up from ABC on 19th to help Waters down and lowered him down to ABC and now on his own oxygen. 20th yaks to BC. 21st left for Kathmandu. |
