Route Notes BC at Khumbu Glacier C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite C4 at South Col. Kim, Apa, Ang Pasang and Pasang Temba left C4 at 23:00 hours on May 18, summited at 11:00 hours on 19th, stayed on summit 30 minutes, descended to C4 at 18:00 hours. Before leaving C4 it was windy and snowing; at the time of leaving South Col there was little wind and snow. When the team reached the Balcony, it was clear and good. Before the Kim team there were about 10 people and behind them also were about 10 people. Kim found the Everest summit different than he had expected; the summit was not flat as expected. Kim donated $2000 for the funeral of the two Sherpas killed in the icefall. He is also going to establish foundation to raise fund to help the surviving family members children for their education and lively-hood. Kim will be leaving Nepal on May 25.
