Route Notes On May 30, Cool, Farr, Linsdell, Taylor and Tryti along with Tendu Sherpa, Tamding Sherpa, Pemba Nuru, Pema Chhiring and Pema Tshering (kitchen boy) left C3 for C4. At 10:30 pm left C4 for summit, five members and five Sherpas. Tendu Sherpa had to turn back from just above C4 due to chest infection. Tryti and Tamding turned around from South Summit because Tyyti was tired and going very slow. Cool on top at 5:50 am of 31st, stayed on summit about 30 minutes, then came Apa Sherpa. Rest of the climbers behind them. Weather on summit was just windy. Cool went down to C2. Taylor and Pema Nurbu summited at 9:45 am. Farr, Linsdell, Pema Chhiring Sherpa and Pema Tshering Sherpa (kitchen boy) summited at 10:15 am. All of them returned to C4 between 3:30 to 4 pm. Next day BC . Jakobczyk left BC on May 31; he climbed up to C3 on April 28. He had to go home because it was too long for him to wait for weather to improve. Linsdell, Taylor and Tryti left BC on June 3, and Farr and Cool left BC on 4th. The team return to KTM on June 7 and will leave on 11th. Summit Sherpas: Pemba Nuru, 22/7/80, Beding, Everest X3 Pema Chhiring/Chhiri, 17/12/83, Beding, Everest X2, Lhotse X1, Cho Oyu X1 Pema Tshering/Pema Chhiri, 14/2/80 according to citizenship certificates, but 16/12/80 according to him, Chanku VDC, Dolakha, 1st 8000er
Accidents A falling stone hit right side forehead of Cool above C4 on May 30 while ascending (got to summit and went down to C2 where his wounds were treated with 6 stitches)
