| Route Notes | May 20 Bondarenko, Moskaleva, Tenzing Dorje Sherpa and Phurba Sherpa left C3 at about 11 am, reached South Col between 6 pm to 6:30 pm. Two members and Tenjing Dorji left C4 at 11 pm, reached 8300m at about 4:30 am of May 21. The ropes for fixed line not enough to continue further climbing. Then turned about to C4; descended to C3 where Moskaleva reached between 2-3 pm. She slept there. Bondarenko and Sherpas descended to C2. Bondarenko left BC on 22 May, arrived KTM on May 27 and left on 29th. Bondarenko was a client of Moskaleva; she was very upset about the behaviour of Bondarenko, who was always complaining about the food served to him at BC and high camps. Bondarenko also wanted his Sherpas to work as his servants and used to scold Sherpas with indecent language. Bondarenko made his Sherpa Phurba to carry more load than usual load. On the day they arrived South Col Phurba was very exhausted due to carrying more load and he could not continue climbing with Bondarenko and that made Bondarenko angry. It is true that Bondarenko was fast on the mountain because he did not carry any load. On descent from South Col Bondarenko even asked Moskaleva to bring down his stuff. He fell down while descending from 8300m to South Col. Tenzing rushed towards him and helped Bondarenko to come up. Moskaleva clipped with fix rope helped Tenzing to hold her hand, Bondarenko even did not bother to thank the Sherpa who saved his life. Although Moskaleva told him several times to clip with fix rope while climbing and descending but Bondarenko hardly listened to her. Bondarenko and Moskaleva had lots of arguments almost every day. Situation was that if Moskaleva says white, Bondarenko goes for black. Steven Lem (Everest South) Sergei thinks that he is rich and everybody he paid should work for him as his servants. Sergei always has something to complain against Sherpas, Asian Trekking, and its people with indecent language. Sergei attitude is always blaming others. Sergei had all the bad things to tell Lem about others. But he never mention a word about his fall on the mountain. Lem said, indeed, Sergei was fast on the mountain. Sherpa: Tenzing Dorje, 19/11/70, Phortse, no 8000ers |
| Accidents | Bondarenko slipped in ice slope before the South Col while descending on May 21 (he was not clipped to fixed rope) |
