Route Notes May 26: Mulepati, Kami and Pem left BC for C2. On 28th C2 to C3. On 29 all three members left C3 at 10 am arrived C4 at 6:30 pm. Left C4 at 11:40 pm, summited at 11 am of 30th, stayed there for 45 minutes, wedded Mulepati to Pem. Descended to C4 at 6:40 pm, slept in C4. Next day to C2. Weather condition on ascent was Ok - little windy, on descent it was windy, snowfall. While ascending ahead of Mulepati team were Iranians and Koreans. When they reached summit there were about 10 people. Mulepati saw 2 or 3 people coming from north side. When asked Mulepati about Sushmita (Dangol team), she said she had no idea about her. Pem said they were together up to Balcony. Mulepati-Sherpa couple trying to go to Chicago to attend Rotarians meeting where Mulepati plans to hand over the Rotary summit flag at the meeting to be held around June 18. Mulepati has no idea about the altitudes of camps. The altitudes were given by Pem. Kami Sherpa was a team member (not hired).
Accidents Mulepati suffered from snow blindness while descending from summit (weather was bad and she had removed her sunglass overnight; she recovered from the blindness with medication; next morning it was not that bad)
