| Route Notes | BC at CBC/IC on 8th at 5800m ABC at usual campsite C1 at North Col C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite C4 at usual campsite. Dufour left C3 at 8 pm (NST) on May 20, reached at 8300m at midnight, summited at 10:15 of May 21, stayed on summit about 25 minutes, descended to 8300m. Next day to ABC. Weather on summit partially cloud-covered and moderately windy. Dufour was the first one to reach to summit. While on summit there came 10-12 people. The reason for his fingers frostbite he thinks was due to fingers contact with the metal piece attached to oxygen mask while trying to change. His sunglass in the morning of 21st when sun was coming up. About frostbitten feet he only realized when he arrived at 4 pm at C3. Dufour returned to KTM on May 27 and his booking for home bound flight is on June 10. He will try to change for early flight. |
| Accidents | Frostbite: thumb and middle finger of right hand, both feet (doctor said it is not very bad - likely to be Ok) |
