Route Notes BC at CBC IC on 14th at 5900m C1 at North Col High point at C4 site by Sherpas. May 22: Noble and Taylor with five Sherpas left C3 about 9 am (NST), reached to 8000m by 11 am, returned to C1 at about 4 pm. It was supposed to be summit day, but weather remained bad. The members decided just to be at 8000m and return. Next day 23rd, weather was good. Donovan left CBC on 29th, 30th to KTM; four days later left Nepal. He suffered from chest infection. On 16th BBC TV team left CBC: The team included Griffiths, Moores, Skelton, Thomson, and Whittle; the team was filming on Griffiths who gave up climbing below C1. On 17th to KTM, 21st left Nepal. The team returned to KTM on 27th. Pritt leaving KTM on 24th Evening, rest of the team members on 4 June. C4 pitched at 8300m on 29 Apr but never occupied, 2 members highest point 8000m at 22 May.
