Route Notes Started from C3 on 18 May at 00:15 Chinese time (10:00 pm NST), reached the summit at 7:30 (5:15 NST) on 19 May with Spanish climber. Stayed for 45 minutes, came down to ABC at 10:15 pm (8:00 pm NST). Expedition permit was arranged by Focus from TMA. He is the member of Everest-K2 expedition (Thamserku Trekking in KTM). Tibetan Pingzou to C3 only. Email to Miss Hawley from Daniele Mardi I climbed the mountain alone; I and Catalan girls started from the C3 together. But they have 2 Sherpa and I have not with me Tibetan porter because he hasn't got oxygen and 18 May came down. My Tibetan porter and I, worked with the Sherpa of Italian expedition and we join the work in altitude. I use a tent on C3 of Italian expedition because my Tibetan porters work for they to build and I had an accord with them, all other think was my. Email from Daniele Nardi - June 16, 2004 No Sherpa climbed with me, only Ping Zou (this is the naike that he wrote on my dairy). Tibetan porter climb with me but to go from ABC to C3 he stay everytime too far to me because he is more fast than me! Near me when I climbed the summit was the Spanish girl Meite and Nuria and their Sherpa. We arrived to the summit about together and have some photo. I don't remember their name but can ask if you need to Nuria with email. In C3 Phinzo bring me 2 oxygen 4 liter and after he comes down. The other thing I bring up. The youngest Italian to reach the summit of Everest before this year was Carrel, Rinaldo in May 1973 when he was exactly 21 years old. Mastronicola, Claudio did not reach the summit of Cho Oyu in the autumn of 1997. He went up to C3 at 7400m but no higher. Email to Ekaterina I start from BC 15 May to ABC at 6:30 arrive 13:30 and 16 to C1 start at 10:00 arrive 12:40, and 17 to C2 start at 7:30 to 12:30 approx, and 18 to C3 start about 7:00 arrive 13:00 approx, and 19 go to the summit start at 00:15 and return in the ABC about 17:00-18:00 the same day. I began walking from C3 about 00:15 but I wake up at 22:00 because I had an accord with Spanish women to start at 23:00 but their Sherpa was not ready and I wait for 1 hour with Pompii and Marco the other little Italian expedition and we start at 00:15 about. I arrived to the summit about 7:30 with Spanish while Pompii I met him half of snow before summit. I think I stayed 45 minutes stay on the summit. I went from C3 to the summit alone because my Tibetan porter have not the oxygen and the day before go down. I went to C3 with big load and than he must help me to load the oxygen to C3. My oxygen for some problem arrived at base camp very very late and than for me was impossible to organize the oxygen load for him. I went up to C3 with Tarcisio Bello after he went down because had some altitude problem.
