Route Notes BC at 5200m CBC C1 at 7060m North Col There was not much climbing. Most of the time Menu stayed at ABC. Returned to KTM on 28th leaving on 29th. Menu wore no gloves because he had been to North Col on previous expedition without gloves or jacket, so wanted to climb entirely without gloves. Russian doctor advised him not to try.
Accidents Minor frostbite because he did not use gloves for climbing
