Route Notes Nature quit about 4 May. Fisher quit about 10 May because that was enough. Earnest to 7500m from C1 about 10 May, then too much of a job to continue alone. Both arrived on 10th night decided to leave mountain. Earnest: "I was heartbroken after putting so much money into the climb," tried to hire a Sherpa but none available at a price he could afford. One Sherpa above BC once.
