Route Notes C1 at North Col C2 at slower camp site High point at below North Ridge and before First Step. May 17 both members and 2 Sherpas left C3 for top at 1:00 am (NST). Lopez stopped at 8790m where oxygen stopped working and Pasang below with him and stopped in C3. Bonilla and Fura Dorje on top 10:00 am in good weather, only little wind. Returned to C3 3:00 pm and also slept in C3 that night. 18 May down to ABC. Mauricio did not make another summit bid because weather report said next weather window was 26 May. Oxygen use Bonilla and Fura only used oxygen to sleep at C3 16th; going up from C3 used by both members and Fura Dorje but not other Sherpas. Bonilla and Fura down to C3 and sleeping in C3; not below C3; Bonilla had used oxygen sleeping in C2 and from C2 to C3; no one else here.
