Route Notes May 22: Left C3 at 00:30 hours; summit at 11:30 hours; spent about half-hour; returned to C3 at about 19:30 hours. Next day to C1. Both slept at C2 on 20 and in C3 on 21 May. May 24: Left C3 at 01:30 hours; summit at 10:30 hours; spent half-hour; returned to C3. Next day to ABC. Both slept at C2 on 22nd and C3 on 23rd. The first to reach summit was French-Swiss Gia RAF expedition on 22nd. Second team met Spanish and Sherpas on the summit. The team returned to Kathmandu on May 30. They have flight reservation for 8th but will try for 1st or 2nd.
