Route Notes Second attempt for summit on May 11 reached up to C1. Then gave up. The expedition's deadline was May 20. [Members' high point was 7550m according to Ian Roberts.] Sherpa: Purna from Taplejung Kathryn Sharpe stayed back at ABC. The expedition returned to Kathmandu on May 15. May 17 left for kayaking on Seti for three days. Returned to Kathmandu on 20 and leaving Nepal on 21. Notes: from Mark Lewis (Expedition Diaries): Roberts, Hornett and Lewis made several load carries C2 site at 7800m, but no summit attempt. Purna carried oxygen to C3 site at 8300m.
