| Route Notes | C1 at top of Icefall C2 in West Cwm C3 on Lhotse Face. May 5: BC to C2 stayed for the day. Back to C1. Again to C2 and on 10th to C3. Down to BC on 12th. Oxygen used: C2 to C3 and for sleeping. About 6 Bottles. The team returned to KTM via Jiri on 18th (helicopter from Shyangboche to Jiri). Will leave on May 26 midnight to Osaka. The leader does not consider Mr. Shimizu as member of the expedition. He had already left Nepal long before the rest of the team. |
