Route Notes C1 at camps were already established when they reached the BC. C3 at altitudes according to Shrestha established but not used High point at little above C2 by as member. April 17 - Shrestha went upto C1 deposited/supplies and back to BC. Dangol returned from midway due to slow climbing. April 18 - Both members tried for C1 but Dangol could not make due to problem with boots. Hired Sherpas reached C3 (7300m). April 20 - Both reached C1. Spent two nights. April 22 - C2 in evening Dongal started feeling weak used oxygen to sleep. Babu Chiri and other Sherpas were there. Shrestha reached 6750m (just above C2) his high-point. April 23 - In the morning Dangol could not stand - lost balance like a drunken person. Babu decided to send him back. All came down to BC. He was treated by Indian Army Expedition Doctor. He was also having cough. April 24 - Dangol was evacuated by helicopter to KTM taken straight to CEWIC and then to his home. April 25 - Shrestha left BC. Arrived KTM on 28 from Lukla. He was thinking to return to BC with Dangol. April 27 - Babu Chiri called Dangol from BC and asked about health condition. Dangol not seeing possibility of recovery from sickness (weakness and cough) within few days told Babu to talking, Babu told him that he may also not attempt the summit. April 28 - Shrestha returned to KTM April 29 - Babu fell in crevasse near C2. Dangol said there was not enough time for acclimatization as climbing was too fast for him. At the time of meeting (May 9) he was still having cough and still seemed weak. Babu's target for summit was the full-moon day, May 7 Buddha's Anniversary day. Besides Babu, Nima Dorje and Dawa Sherpa, Shrestha told that Pasang Sherpa working with them while climbing. Also met Pasang Narbu Sherpa on June 25 who was with American expedition of Brant Didden and checked camp dates with him. Babu Chiri was hired by American team, but climbed also with Dangol team.
