Route Notes C1 at North Col. Duro, Rafols and Ribas started climbing from C3 at 11:30 pm of 19th May. Started storming when they reached the height of 8500m. All the sky was covered by black clouds. Other expedition group members and themselves decided to go down from the altitude of 8650m because the weather was getting worse and worse. Three climbers came down to C3 at 8:30 am and came further down to ABC at 8 pm. Rafols lost his way while traversing from ridge to C3 so reached C3 2-3 hours after teammates. Sherpas were not in good shape so they could not go beyond C3. Soulie left BC one week before the last group - mildly sick.
Accidents Rafols got nose frostbite, but will heal
