Route Notes C1 at North Col High point below the Second Step. On 10th of May leader attempted for the summit. He started this attempt leaving all other groups and climbers behind so that is he was the one who attempted first of this season to make the summit. He had started climbing at 2 am of 10th May from C4 and turned around from the altitude of 8400m because of bad weather. Second time leader attempted for summit on 20th of May. He started climbing at 11 pm May 20, arrived C4 at 5:30 am of 21st May and reached the foot of First Step (8500m). He had to turn around from this altitude because of strong wind. Fixed rope used in the glacier, North Col which was being fixed by the Sherpas of Russian group. Hendrik Wesselius attempted to climb at 2 am of 20th May for summit. He started from C4 and reached the height of 8600m, below the Second Step. Had to turn around because of strong wind. BC Manager and doctor reached the North Col.
