Route Notes BC at usual BC between ABC C1 at North Col C2 used on May 15 C3 at North Ridge. Between TBC and ABC had about BC1.5 (yak camp). To C1 Yamashita and Yashima and four Sherpas. On 26th April C2 and C3 established on May 1st and 14th, respectively. On 15th Hosaka, Kodama and Yashima stayed in C2. Moved up to C3 with Pemba and Nima on 16th. On 17th left C3 at 01:30 hours, summited at 11:00 hours, stayed about half an hour. Returned to C3 and to ABC on 18th. Second team: Kobayashi, Konno, Tanaka and Yamashita with Nawang, Gyalu and Pasang. Left C3 at 01:10 hours, summited at 09:25 hours on 19th, stayed about one hour; Konno and Pasang Kami summited at 12:30 hours. Tanaka down to C1. Konno stayed in C3 and Kobayashi and Yamashita in C2 with three Sherpas. They were happy for having all members back and success. - Member Miss Mihara remained in ABC all the time due to tiredness. - Expedition Doctor Simizu and leader Yashima left BC on 20th May - Doctor left KTM on May 24th due to his commitments in Japan - The expedition received weather forecasts directly from Japan First team Sherpas: Nima Gyalzen - third time to summit [second?] Pemba Dorje - first time Second team Sherpas: Nawang Tenzing - third time [first time?] Pasang Kami - first time Gyalu Lama
