Route Notes C1 on April 2 where Ms Fernandez, Garra and Ortega spent night. Between 11th carried loads to C2. Gonzalez, Jara and Salazar spent night on 11th. Fernandez-Vivancos, Ms Fernandez, Garra, Millan, Ortega and Perez spent night at C2. On 25th Fernandez-Vivancos and Salazar spent night at C3. Garra, Millan and Ortega joined on 26th and on 27th Ms Fernandez, Gonzalez, Jara and Perez down to BC. C4 on May 20. First attempt: May 10 by Fernandez-Vivancos, Garra, Gonzalez, Jara and Salazar from C2 at 05:30 hours; returned to C2 about 16:00 hours due to bad weather. Second: May 20 from C4 at 22:30 hours by Fernandez-Vivancos, Garra, Gonzalez, Jara, Millan and Salazar; up to 8200m strong wind and snow, so down to C4. Third: May 21 from C4 at 23:00 by Garra, Gonzalez and Jara to summit between 09:00-09:30 hours on 22nd; spent night at C4. Leave Nepal June 8. (Leader Gonzalez was sick with diarrhea, so could not come to talk in KTM) Dr Ortega broke her leg while team was in Pangboche on May 1; she was flown by helicopter from Lukla on May 2. Had it operated at B&B and left Nepal on May 6 or 7. Ms Fernandez left BC on 19 May due to weakness. She went up to C3. At the time of this meeting she was in Pokhara.
