Route Notes BC at Pangpema ABC at 5509m on top Kangchenjunga map on Ginsang Glacier High point below North Face and North Ridge. 15 Oct Normand and Guthrie went up from ABC to west on north side of Drohmo to look for climbing route up North Face. Stopped below North Ridge (below points 6350m and 6340m) dropped gear at 6250m and back to 5500m same night. Back to BC to rest and get more gear but started snowing next morning. Went up to get gear at 6250m but no more attempts to climb because snow on face unconsolidated. Back from gear retrieval on 23 Oct to find 2 members gone down to Lhonak and cook had developed thrombosis in leg.
Accidents Kunze bronchial problem and Arnott fever; cook thombosis
