Route Notes BC as same as Paulo Grobel's expedition C1 as same as Paulo Grobel's expedition. Fixed rope 1400m from C1 to C2 with 4 Sherpas by Delapierre and Siffredi. From C2 up, fixed 400m more rope on 14-15 Oct and most down to C1 for rest (while Delapierre and Siffredi stayed in C2) and 18th to C2. Big storm on 18th night with very bad night. 19th down to BC with many avalanches below C1 (no one hurt) and 2m deep snow at BC and some tents destroyed. C2 found to be under 3m of snow but took 3 days to find it. Sherpas found tents on 25th and members reoccupied C2 on 26th. Delapierre and Siffredi descended by snowboards from top to BC. Climbed with Grobel party both days.
