Route Notes BC at north of junction of Kangchenjunga and West Langpo Glacier C1 at Jonsang Glacier C2 at below SE Ridge and northwest Jonsang La Very narrow ridge covered by thin powder snow, which prevented good belay. North side very steep and avalanche prone so impossible. Key was to be able to climb ridge, which would have been possible if could use ice screw or snowbar. In attempt to reach summit from 30 Sept was 3 days fixing ropes and climbing couloir leading to ridge. Reached ridge 22 Sept, climbed ridge for 2 days. On 6 Oct from C1 in 4-5 hours by Lagunilla and Salas. If return to this mountain, they would want to approach from Tibet or Sikkim to West Ridge.
