Route Notes BC at Pangpema C1 at Jongsang Glacier below junction with W. Langpo Glacier C2 at Jongsang La on Dome Kang's East Ridge. Above Jongsong La had ice but using 2 hard tools could climb it slowly; immediately above La very complicated terrain of mixed rock and snow and broken ice so climbed 350m on south side of ridge, then onto East Ridge and then with hanging snow glacier, on north side. Above this big glacier on North Face of snow and ice. Stopped on this face 300m below plateau; climbed South Face 350m, 50m ridge and 100m north side's hanging glacier. Stopped at 6650m; clouds covering then and snowfalling. Team did have enough time to solve problems of last 300m to plateau, which even in good weather would have taken 4-5 days to climb. Down to C2 on 18th and BC 19th. From BC to C2 extremely difficult unsettled rocky area 14 km distance for 1800m altitude gain. Want to return to same route next year to finish it and give selves more time.
Accidents Goded serious tooth problem and went to Kathmandu dentist (not to climb)
