Route Notes ABC just north of BC Biv 1 at east side of SE Ridge which is really a series of ridges on face Biv 2 at same on C1 High point at point 6333m (Dolma Kang). Before reaching Gyabrug did reach up Tungmarnang Valley to 4000m for across route, but too steep for porters to go beyond and too far from mountain. On to Gyabrug and up Jamoi Gul Chhu and W to halfway between "N" of Rolwaling on Schneider Rolwaling map and Ramdung. Wanted to climb SE Ridge to S Summit only (4-5 days from S to N Summit) and this too much to try to cope with. Stopped at 6333m because had run out of resources (e.g., fixed ropes, strong climbers, places to put bivs.). Fixed rope almost all the way from ABC to 2nd biv and Pt 6333m because had no fixed camps.
