| Route Notes | From BC, crossed Dhampus Pass to SE Ridge via West Face of SE Ridge. Not technical climbing - ridge mixed snow and rock, gentle sloping sides. BC moved while team was climbing to site where their trekking group was camped so descent from summit led farther down SE Ridge towards (but not to) Pt 4908 on Japanese map and down ridge on its west side to Yamkim Khola. Left BC at 6:00 am on 2 Nov, reached summit at 2:00 pm and down to new BC at 6:30 pm same day after having spent 5 minutes on summit. Weather on summit was good. |
