Route Notes Every day clouds formed in late morning & snowfall in afternoon. However little avalanching on this route. White Peak scaled on 3rd Oct by all 4 members; 4th Oct by all 4 members; 5th Oct by 2 Sherpas (C2 was placed on summit). Schedule Catalonian Expedition Dhaulagiri V / Nepal 87 9 Sept - started the approach March from Pokhara 21 Sept - reached temporary BC at 3550m below Tsaurabong Glacier beside right of Myangdi Khola 22 Sept - started loads transportation to depot Camp, DC is 4300m to the right of seracs 26 Sept - BC was established at 4900m. At the Tsaurabong Glacier East of White Peaks East Ridge 28 Sept - was established the C1 at 5400m. 29 Sept - was established one depot at 5900m below the white peak at site originally planned for C2 4 Oct - was established the C2 at summit of the white peak. At 6400m (site originally planned to be C3) 6 Oct - two members arrived below the C3 at 7080m and go down because there was cloud and was snowing. 7 Oct - the party decided to go down because: - days of bad weather - the ridge was dangerous without fixed route - rope supply exhausted - much wind 7 Oct - all the members returned to BC from C2 13 Oct - started the return march from temporary BC with 13 porters of Bagar 19 Oct - All the party arrived to KTM.
