Route Notes BC near other team's BCs C1 at NE Col. 20 May Salvetti, Brunello and Tek Bahadur Tamang to C3 for summit attempt but on 21st Brunello was only one to go up from the camp. Salvetti had gotten stiff neck during the night and Tek Bahadur slight altitude sickness. Brunello went up to 7400m and then turned back because the traverse in the route was dangerous for one man alone; all down. On 25 May Bello and Vielmo to C3: was very windy night and they not sure whether to go up or not but decided to do so and started up rather late, at 7:00 am. Were on summit at 12:48 pm and returned to C3 at 4:00 pm and slept there. Moretto, Toldo and Mioni had left BC on 22 May to catch there flight out of KTM to go home.
